As a Lead QA Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our payment orchestration solutions. You will lead a team of QA engineers, collaborate closely with software/product designers, and drive the implementation of robust QA processes to support our innovative projects.

Qualification and Technical Skills you would have:

5-7 years of Automation testing experience in payments gateway environments.

Proven experience in building regression packs and leading QA teams.

Hands-on experience in load testing and operational testing is desirable.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Agile certification is a plus.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar discipline.

Technical proficiency in Karate framework, Cucumber, Java basics, Performance Testing in J-meter, and strong SQL skills.

Experience testing APIs (familiarity with REST, JSON, XML) and Web Applications.

Excellent knowledge of QA processes, principles, and the software development lifecycle.

Ability to communicate effectively in English both written and spoken.

Your Core Responsibilities:

Collaborate with software/product designers to define quality assurance parameters for payment orchestration projects.

Lead the QA team in designing comprehensive test procedures and overseeing the drafting of testing documents, including test scripts and cases.

Conduct Performance testing, Scheduler testing, and Regression testing to ensure product reliability and scalability.

Write SQL queries and perform data analysis as necessary to ensure the integrity of our systems.

Implement and oversee testing procedures, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and regulatory standards.

Troubleshoot quality issues and modify test procedures in real-time to enhance product performance.

Conduct analysis checks on product specifications and review Quality Assurance reports to drive continuous improvement.

Facilitate the transition from Manual to Automation testing, leveraging hands-on experience and innovative tools.

Conduct daily stand-ups with the team to align on assigned tasks and ensure project milestones are met.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Java & Spring boot, Redis, SQL (RDBMS)

Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Knowledge of security best practices, including encryption, tokenization, PCI DSS compliance.

Experience of working in a start-up is desirable, especially Fintech
