As an Integration Engineer at APEXX, you'll play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing robust integrations and solutions that power our state-of-the-art payment orchestration platform. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring seamless integration with diverse payment methods and technologies, while also enhancing the scalability, reliability, and performance of our systems.

QUALIFICATIONS AND TECHNICAL SKILLS

• 5-8 years experience in building resilient applications based on Java 8, Spring boot, Web services, etc.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience in SQL, relational databases and database concepts, preferably PostgreSQL
• Exposure to AWS Services/concepts like – ecs, ecr, api gateway, S3 & Lambda etc.
• Exposure in DevOPS tools and frameworks like jenkins, CI/CD Pipeline, ansible, chef, containers etc.
• Strong problem-solving, design skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Excellent interpersonal. communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in troubleshooting production applications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• He/She will be responsible for developing software modules for various parts of the system architecture.
  
• Understand system architecture and design.
  
• Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
  
• Work with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for integration projects.
  
• Optimize and enhance existing integration solutions for performance and scalability.
  
• Document integration processes, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
  
• Ensure timely and top-quality product delivery.
  
• Ensure implementation/continuous improvement of formal processes to support product development activities.
  
• Provide helpful and productive code reviews for peers and junior members of the team.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring seamless data flow across environments
  
  

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with Java & Spring boot, Redis, SQL (RDBMS)
  
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  
• Understanding of microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  
• Experience of working in a start-up is desirable, especially Fintech
