Implementation Manager
Due to continued growth, Apexx are looking for an experienced Implementation Manager to join the team. Our successful candidate is someone with strong technical and analytical skills, who has a good understanding around the eCommerce payments market and demonstrable experience of leading new product or service implementations for a payment gateway company.

DESIRED BEHAVIOURS & COMPETENCIES
3-5 years’ experience working in an implementation or similar technical role within the eCommerce payments space
Strong knowledge of Payment Gateways, Cards Payments, Acquiring, 3D Secure, Alternative Payments, Buy-Now-Pay-Later and other supplementary payment functions
Experience working with Enterprise Merchants in an implementation, technical account management or customer success capacity
Strong Stakeholder Engagement - ability to work closely with senior individuals both internally and externally
Experience working with APIs
Proficient in the use of Postman or Kibana
Experience in any of the following an advantage:
Basic to intermediate SQL skills (MySQL, Snowflake, Postgres)
Intermediate knowledge of Javascript, HTML, and CSS
Experience using Zipkin or Grafan
Agile development methodology
Highly self-driven and proactive
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Be process-driven whilst maintaining a customer-centric mindset
Maintains impeccable attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
Flexible and able to multitask
RESPONSIBILITIES
End to end management of payment gateway implementations from technical kick-off through to live processing
Keeping internal and external key stakeholders informed of progress, issues and risks related to implementation projects
Work closely with Sales, Product and Operations teams to minimise time-to-live and provide a frictionless customer experience
Set up merchants on the APEXX gateway in line with their requirements
Support merchants with integration and testing
Run training sessions for APEXX merchant portal users
Support merchants through go-live and ramp-up
Identify, escalate, and track technical and product issues
Assist merchants by leveraging product knowledge and payment industry expertise
Develop and maintain a layered understanding of how APEXX products and integrations work end-to-end, based on user and developer documentation, knowledge base articles, and source code
Work with our product delivery team to understand new product releases and how this may affect customer experience
Create knowledge content for our clients to access online and keep internal documentation that supports APEXX’s product suite up to date
